Our Community
To support our community, we utilise local supply chains to create opportunities locally, creating opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises within our supply chain, including material suppliers and subcontractors.
We partner with other organisations to maximise the benefits across our local Community including supporting our local community through charitable partnerships, donations, volunteering and further educational initiatives. Throughout our operations we seek to support the most vulnerable within our community, we continue to engage and support local foodbanks by providing voluntary hours, donations and financial assistance so that they can continue to provide a vital service.
Our Environment
H&A Group are committed to reducing the impact on the environment for the benefit of current and future generations. We work closely with our supply chain and source products/materials from environmentally responsible suppliers, through our EMS we measure the use of virgin natural resources, recycled content, replacement interval, recycled input, recyclability
Seeking to reduce the impact on the environment we have installed a 100 Kwh wind turbine, Biomass boiler and Air Source Heat Pump at our Head Office as well as Solar PV panels at other sites. We are commited to investing in further installations of Solar PV panels across our sites and the use of innovative technologies such as battery storage solutions for energy.
Through ‘Business in the Community’ we have undertaken environmental training emphasising carbon reduction and are preparing a Climate Action Pledge detailing our pledge to reduce Scope 1/Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030.
