AFFORDABLE WARMTH SCHEME

The Affordable Warmth Scheme is the Department for Social Developments Scheme for addressing fuel poverty in the private sector throughout Northern Ireland and provides a list of energy efficiency measures to include Heating, Insulation, Windows and Solid Wall Insulation

This is a strictly targeted Scheme, through which the DSD use the Councils and NIHE to deliver the Scheme and to date H&A have assisted over 300 households in maximising their energy gains in their homes through installing new Gas and Oil Central Heating, Windows, Insulation and Draught proofing

BOILER REPLACEMENT ALLOWANCE

The Boiler Replacement Allowance is a Government Scheme, which aims to help the cost of replacing your old inefficient boiler. 

The Scheme offers Owner Occupiers a grant of up to £1000 to replace inefficient boilers that are over 15 years old, with an energy efficient condensing boiler. 

The level of grant available is dependent on total gross income of the household as outlined below.
