H&A Group Supports Young Innovators Through SEPI Climate Action Programme

H&A Group was proud to support the Shared Education for Positive Innovation (SEPI) programme, which concluded this week with a Climate Summit in Armagh, bringing together students from across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to showcase innovative responses to environmental and sustainability challenges.

As a corporate partner of SEPI, H&A Group worked with student teams from eight schools, providing mentoring and real-world insight as part of a programme designed to encourage collaboration, creativity and design thinking. The initiative engaged more than 1,000 students throughout the region, challenging them to develop practical solutions to key environmental issues.

Following the programme’s early stages, five finalist teams were selected to take part in the SEPI Regional Pitch-Off, hosted by Co-operation Ireland and Catalyst in Letterkenny. During this event, student teams presented their sustainability concepts, including a number of innovative solutions developed specifically for H&A Group. The high quality of ideas made the judging process highly competitive.

Three teams working on solutions for H&A Group progressed to the SEPI Climate Summit, where 44 teams presented their projects in the semi-final stage. The summit marked the culmination of months of work and demonstrated the creativity, enthusiasm and problem-solving skills of the students involved.

H&A Group is committed to supporting education, sustainability and future skills development, and is proud to have been part of a programme that empowers young people to play an active role in shaping a more sustainable future.

The company would like to thank Co-operation Ireland, Catalyst, participating schools and all the students involved for delivering an inspiring and impactful programme.
