H&A Group has been named a winner at the Aico Community Awards 2026, taking home the Sustainability Project of the Year accolade for its Low Carbon Retrofit Programme, delivered in partnership with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive.

The award was presented last Thursday in Birmingham and recognises projects that deliver meaningful environmental and social impact. H&A Group’s initiative has already upgraded more than 100 homes across Northern Ireland with energy-efficient improvements, helping to reduce carbon emissions while lowering energy costs for residents.

The programme is also contributing to improved living conditions, creating warmer, more comfortable homes and supporting stronger, more sustainable communities.

H&A Group credited the achievement to the dedication and innovation of its team, whose efforts have been central to the programme’s success, and welcomed the recognition from Aico in highlighting projects that make a tangible difference.
