NEW CONTRACTS AWARDED
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded two new contracts for the recent Housing Executive Regional Heating Contracts!
We have been awarded the following lots:
Lot 3 – Causeway & West
This contract covers the Renewal of Heating Appliances, Whole house heating solutions and Planned & Response Maintenance in respect of Heating Appliances to approx. 30,000 NIHE homes
The contract has a potential 7 year period and commences on 1st May 2024.
We look forward to continuing our longstanding partnership with NIHE and providing them and their tenants a top class service.
Paul Isherwood, director of asset management at NIHE, said: “These contracts include servicing, maintenance and planned replacement across our stock.
“It will mean better and more energy efficient homes for our tenants.
“The contracts will also enable the introduction of low-carbon technologies, supporting our commitment to achieve net zero.”
Mr Isherwood added that the contracts will “not only create employment for the local workforce”, but they will also “bring benefits for our local communities”.
He said: “All contractors have committed to an extensive programme of social value during the term, including paid employment initiatives, skills development and education programmes, while also working with social enterprises in their supply chain.
“This is just one strand of our investment plans to provide future-proofed homes, strong and cohesive communities and partnership opportunities with our local construction industry.”
