At H&A Group, we are deeply committed to creating meaningful social value through initiatives that champion sustainability and biodiversity.
As part of this commitment, our Health & Safety team recently visited several local schools, including Knockahollet Primary School in Dunloy, Cliftonville Integrated Primary School, Holy Trinity Primary School, and St. Clare’s Primary School in Belfast.
During these visits, Caroline Kirton, our Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, engaged with students to teach them about the importance of pollination. Each child received a pencil made from recycled materials, thoughtfully presented on seed paper—a small gift with the potential to grow into something beautiful.
We look forward to seeing the wildflowers bloom and hope this simple gesture inspires young minds to develop a lasting appreciation for nature.
Reflecting on the experience, Caroline shared:
“It was a delight to meet the children, and they asked such thoughtful questions about bees, pollination, and honey. Many of them recognised the H&A logo from our vans in their neighbourhood. It’s truly rewarding to connect with the communities we serve and make a positive impact.”
At H&A Group, we’re proud to help inspire the next generation to build a more sustainable future for all.
