Electrician – Mid Ulster Area

Role Overview:

We are recruiting for an Electrician to work on our NIHE Heating Maintenance contract. The successful candidate will provide electrical support to the Heating Installation teams and carry out response maintenance as required, this will primarily be based in the Mid Ulster Area.  
Reports to: ForemanDirect Reports: N/A
Working Hours:      
– Monday – Friday
– 7.30AM – 5 PM
– Flexibility is required

Roles & Responsibilities:
Job roles will include but are not limited to:
– Domestic electrical maintenance
– Periodic Inspection & Testing of domestic dwellings
– Heating Installation Works
– Rewires
– Smoke alarm installs
– Fuse board upgrades

Essential Criteria

– NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
– City & Guilds 2391
– 18th Edition Qualification
– Previous domestic experience
– Valid Driver’s license
Desirable Criteria

– Valid CSR card
– Previous recent experience working in social housing/NIHE properties.
– Inspection & Testing qualification & experience.
